Hi, I’m Kendra Horn

Hi, I’m Kendra Horn, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). I help people build a healthier and more confident relationship with food all without rules, restriction, or diet culture noise.

My approach blends evidence-based nutrition with compassion and real-life support. It’s about understanding what your body needs and learning to respond with curiosity instead of criticism.

I’ve been a dietitian since 2006, working across clinical care, community nutrition, and education. Those experiences shaped my belief that lasting change happens when science and empathy work together.

When I’m not working with clients, I’m experimenting in the kitchen, exploring local trails, or spending time with my family. Balance, to me, is about joy, presence, and connection.

Credentials & Background

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
  • Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)
  • Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor
  • Extensive experience in clinical nutrition, behavior change, and community health education
  • Passionate about creating safe, inclusive spaces for all bodies

My Approach

I believe that food is so much more than just fuel, it’s part of your story. That’s why I take a whole-person, weight-inclusive approach, blending intuitive eating principles with the latest nutrition science. Together, we’ll explore your habits, mindset, and goals, and develop sustainable changes that feel realistic and empowering.

My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and safe to grow—because real healing happens when you’re treated with compassion, not judgment.

Who I Support

I support clients who are ready to:

  • Heal their relationship with food and body image
  • Navigate life transitions that affect eating patterns (stress, pregnancy, menopause, etc.)
  • Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, or PCOS
  • Learn to eat intuitively and trust their body’s cues
  • Break free from all-or-nothing thinking around food and movement

Whether you’re recovering from disordered eating or simply tired of the diet rollercoaster. I’ll meet you where you are with empathy, flexibility, and evidence-based guidance.
